COVID-19 Member Update: Speaker Bios for Revenue Resiliency Brainstorming Workshop

Updated: Apr 24

Hi there,

I hope you’re doing well and are as excited as I am for our upcoming Revenue Resiliency Brainstorming Workshop via Zoom on April 28th from 1 to 3 PM ET! I wanted to send over bios for the fundraising experts leading the workshop. You can find their bios here and some highlights included below.

  • Specializing in major gift campaigns, ResearchPRO Founder Regina Alhassan is central Ohio’s leading development partner, with total dollars identified exceeding $1 billion.

  • As the director of programs at Progressive Multiplier Fund, Bethany Maki is a skilled nonprofit strategist with a 19-year track record of developing integrated fundraising plans and creating new revenue opportunities.

  • Veronica Garcia recently launched the Wealth Reclamation Academy of Practitioners to recontextualize how social justice organizers think about and practice movement resourcing in the U.S. In her over 20-year career, she has supported hundreds of community initiatives and social justice groups in building their grassroots fundraising capacity.

  • Jeanné Lewis, NCRP’s vice president and chief engagement officer, has dedicated her life to find new ways to build just and empowered communities. At NCRP, her work has resulted in a deeply engaged philanthropic sector more open to learning from social justice movement leaders.

As a reminder (and in case you missed our last email), this virtual event includes:

  • Wisdom and out-of-the-box ideas from our guest speakers to help you think more long term about your fundraising resiliency;

  • Opportunities to ask questions and share your ideas as well; and

  • A breakout room session where you can tap into the knowledge of your peers to formulate more concrete ideas for your work.

If you haven't registered yet, you can do so here and feel free to share with other members of your staff as well. I hope to see you there!
