Good morning NCRP members,
I hope everyone’s having a happy and healthy 2020 so far and sending your well wishes to Puerto Rico as they recover from the devastating earthquakes. Just reaching out with some upcoming fellowship and job opportunities.
First, the Open Society Foundations is accepting applications for their Soros Equality Fellowship Program, a fellowship award providing individuals with $100,000 to support the creation of an innovative U.S.-based racial justice project over the course of 18 months. The application deadline is February 13, 2020 and you can learn more here.
Second, the RISE Together Fund (RTF), a collaborative grantmaking program supporting a diverse field of organizations working to address profiling, discrimination, hate crimes, anti-Muslim bigotry and xenophobia, is looking for a grant writer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about galvanizing resources and strategizing with fellow funders to support the needs and priorities of Muslim, Arab, and South Asian communities. Applications are due February 3, 2020 and you can find more information here.
Finally, if you’d like a refresher on the ins and outs of NCRP’s nonprofit membership program, we have an upcoming new member orientation on January 21st via Zoom. Feel free to let us know if you’re interested and we can send you the calendar invite.
